The TEC Accessories Hi-MARKR™ is the perfect everyday carry highlighter/marker, featuring an extremely compact size and rugged durability. Using a variety of refills, you can configure the Hi-MARKR™ to create a dedicated felt tip marker, a highlighter, or even both. That's because it is extremely easy to change out the tip module to use whatever style or color you desire to match the application at hand. For every instance where you would use a disposable highlighter or marker, you can use the Hi-MARKR™.

Configuring the Hi-MARKR™ as a black felt tip marker, you can make a bold statement using the flat side of the chisel tip, or a more subtle reference using the point of the chisel shape. Sign making, crafting, labeling, artwork, mark-ups, redacting text in documents, the uses are endless. The highlighter configuration is great for textbooks, reviewing documents, notes, lists, checking production drawings, etc.

  • A clipless cap design which significantly reduces the overall length, making it much easier to carry in your pocket
  • A pocket clip version with a durable titanium clip
• Chisel shaped felt tip for wide coverage, pointed corner tip use for narrow lines
• Titanium body and cap will withstand extreme use and abuse
• The magnetic cap ensures a firm closure to the body, and also posts to the rear of the marker to create a comfortable length in your hand when in use
• This magnetic cap feature also allows for the quick, pull-to-remove operation of conventional markers which eliminates a cumbersome threaded cap design.
• Uses standard refills, which we offer here on our website and also through our reseller network
• Both the custom magnet and precision machined tip retainer provide an airtight seal to prevent the tip from drying out
• Unlike disposable highlighters and markers, our tip module is replaceable. If you damage the tip or it gets worn out over time you can easily replace it. • Available in your choice of three finishes:
  
  • Stonewashed finish: The body and cap receive a tumbled surface finish with a non-uniform pattern that eliminates sharp edges and machining marks from the manufacturing process. The stonewashed finish also aids to hide the appearance of scratches over time. The end caps are bead blasted which provides a uniform, soft matte finish.
  • Blue Raspberry: The body and cap are first bead blasted to a fine matte finish, then electrically anodized to provide a striking variation of blue and purple tones as the light reflectivity changes across the surface. This amazing color, along with the stainless steel highlights, offers a premium finish that is impossible to ignore.
  • Armour Black Cerakote: The body and cap are coated to a fine matte-like black finish that blends well with the bead blasted stainless steel accents. This refined appearance is not only beautiful, but extremely durable with the Cerakote ceramic-based coating.

Refills

We use a non-proprietary ink/highlighter refill cartridge, based on a 3.4 mm port. Simply insert the cartridge into the rear of the tip assembly (push firmly to install) and then shake it to start the flow of ink. This assembly can then be installed into the Hi-MARKR™ or stored separately for easy exchange when you want to use a different color. Each tip module includes a vinyl cap for storing it outside the Hi-MARKR™ body.

All TEC Accessories refills are quick drying, non-toxic and acid free. These are a water-based formulation which is environmentally friendly, less likely to dry out as compared to alcohol based pigments, and offer easy clean up. The black ink refill utilizes a semi-permanent ink, which produces very good opacity. The highlighter refills are non-bleed, vibrant colors with an excellent translucent quality.

Our refills are priced as a cost effective alternative to comparable refills available elsewhere. But there are many options available if you wish to use alternative refills. Permanent inks as well as other various colors can be used if you wish to get more creative. Just check the mechanical specifications to ensure the refill cartridge is compatible with the Hi-MARKR. Alternatively, various inks can also be purchased in larger containers that can be used to refill the spent Hi-MARKR ink cartridges using a standard syringe filler.
