By varying the pulse width and speed of the laser, we can engrave your text or design in an array of colors when engraving on titanium. This process simulates the effect of electrical anodizing, and provides additional options to suit your specific needs.
Laser Engraving our Ti-Tapes with a Damascus Steel Pattern
This particular design pattern is engraved onto the titanium surface using a unique creative process. During the engraving, the laser speed and power is adjusted to achieve a specific temperature in order to simulate a heat based anodizing process, resulting in a distinct set of 4 different colors to choose from. Engraving times on this product can vary between several minutes to over 20 minutes each side.
Laser Engraving Custom Design Patterns
This US Flag design is one of several that we engrave onto specific titanium products. During the engraving, the laser speed and power is adjusted to achieve a specific temperature in order to simulate a heat based anodizing process, achieving the desired colors. Although not all colors are available through the anodizing process, the eye can be fooled. You cannot achieve a true "red" color through anodizing titanium, yet this brown tone created for the stripes looks red because your mind knows the US flag is red, white and blue.
